Following the very successful Tony Tomkin’s Cruise last year, John Duff and Andy Gordon have agreed to organise it again. Their plan is as follows:

  • Friday evening – assemble at Somerleyton.
  • Saturday – take the uptide to Burgh St Peter for lunch. In the afternoon, take the downtide to Reedham where low water in the bridge is approx 5 30 pm. Go to Reedham Ferry for the night.
  • Sunday – up the Yare to Beauchamp/Rockland for lunch, then downriver to Reedham Street for the night, or possibly Loddon, Chet permitting.
  • Monday – head home to our moorings.

So far, Stella Genesta and Mimosa are cruising. I am sure that they would welcome more company, either by boat, or in a purely social capacity at any of their mentioned venues.

Best wishes and good sailing
