Here is the programme for the Tony Tomkins’ Cruise:
Friday 3rd May – evening meet at the Duke’s Head Somerleyton
(01502 730 281 if you wish to eat at the pub, booking is advisable)
Saturday 4th May – morning (high water Somerleyton is 8.30 a.m.). Down river to Berney Arms for lunch (low water Berney 12.00). The Berney Arms has re-opened under new management and I have let the new landlord know that we are coming.
Saturday – afternoon – up the Yare (low water Reedham Bridge 1.20pm)
Up to Beauchamp for the evening (or possibly Loddon if the wind serves).
Sunday 5th May – morning (high water Beauchamp or Loddon 10.10 a.m.) – back down the Yare to the Ship at Reedham for Lunch (low water Reedham Bridge is 2.30 p.m.)
Sunday Afternoon – Up the Waveney to Oulton Broad Yacht Station.
Monday 6th May – morning – Lie in and leisurely breakfast if desired. (high water Oulton 11.45 a.m.) – back to Somerleyton for lunch.
Monday Afternoon – return to moorings (low water Reedham Bridge 3.40 p.m.)
